Youth Ministry meets weekly on Sundays after the 4:00 p.m. Contemporary Mass for faith formation, fun outreach events, and service activities. In faith formation sessions we explore our faith. Outreach events build community and challenge us to place our hope in the Lord and strive to follow Him. Social Justice gives us a chance to love as Jesus taught us by serving others.
Youth meet in large groups for faith formation sessions and break into small groups for activities and discussion. These small groups remain constant throughout the year in order to establish the bonds of friendship which help youth build their faith and deal with the stress of life and difficult situations. Youth sign up for regular service activities (some of which may take place off-site or on diferent days of the week) and families are encouraged to join in.
All youth participate in service projects and all outreach events, as well as faith formation sessions
Youth and parent volunteers are the heart of this ministry! We need planning team members, small group leaders, service site leaders, and hospitality volunteers. Youth need positive interaction with adults. You can "be there" for our teens today!
