Stewardship Ministries

If you have an interest in working with others to make the Good Shepherd Community even better than it is, or you want to spread our Gift Sharing message, you may find your niche in one of the Stewardship Ministries below.

Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council represents the people of Good Shepherd in the process of making evaluations and recommendations to the Pastor and parish staff. It has the responsibility to foster a sense of unity within the parish by working together with the parish staff, commissions, and ministries.

Finance Commission

The Finance Commission advises and consults with the Pastor and staff of the parish. They have responsibility for the well being of the parish regarding stewardship, money management, and accounting, in general, the temporal affairs of the parish.

Better Shepherd Committee

The Better Shepherd Committee is established to assist with the formation, implementation and continuation of the parish's anual and long range planning process.

Special Events Committee

The Special Events Committee is responsible for fund raising efforts for the purpose of applying the proceeds to our parish debt.

Planned Giving Ministry

This ministry is made up of dedicated professionlas who volunteer their expertise in estate planning, marketing, law, accounting, and stewardship.
