Baptism Ministries

We assist the presider in administering the sacrament in a meaningful and inspirational manner.

Baptisms are held at Good Shepherd on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Baptismal robe makers, coordinators, greeters, and lectors help to make this sacrament a warm and memorable occasion. The members of this ministry have a deep appreciation and reverence for the sacrament.

To join any of these ministries, complete our quick ministry participation form.

Baptism Coordinator
Assist the presider with the coordination of the actual Baptism ceremony. They facilitate the Baptism celebration from beginning to end, working with the celebrant and Baptism Greeters. They set up the altar for the sacrament, line up the families and godparents, assist the greeters with the oil, candles, and baptismal cloths, and clean up.
