Shepherd’s Care Coat Drive for Catholic Charities runs through the month of January. Each of the past two years Good Shepherd parishioners have donated over 600 coats, as well as scarves, hats, and gloves to distribute to refugees, immigrants, and families who visit the rural Food for All pantries.
As the weather becomes cold and you get out your warm coats, please consider setting aside clean, gently worn coats and
winter gear that children have outgrown or adults have replaced, and placing them in the bins provided in the foyer.
Volunteers Needed!
Volunteers are needed to move the coats from the bins to the Outreach Storage Room each weekday morning, and bag them for pickup. This would be a great opportunity for people who attend the 8:30 a.m. daily Mass. Volunteers are also needed in the afternoon on specific dates to help load coats into the Catholic Charities van.
