Join One of Our Sunday Social Ministry Teams!

Sunday Socials at the parish began in 2005 and over the years, many friendships have been formed and families have gathered to share a light breakfast and fellowship. This year, we need to replace one of our teams and look for a few volunteers to fill some open spots on our other teams. Each team will have six to eight members.

Our Sunday Socials are held the first and third Sunday of the month (except for holidays) after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Masses. 

• There are 15 socials from September through May. Only one team works a social (3-4 times a year). 
• Each team has a captain who communicates with the volunteers. 
• Each captain determines the volunteer schedule for their assigned day. Typically, the day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at noon. However, you do not need to stay the entire morning. Some teams have two shifts, early and cleanup! 
• Volunteers greet people as they come to the Social, set out (and replenish) the food, and make sure that there is plenty of coffee, water, and juice boxes!

It’s a great way to volunteer your time at the parish and meet new people!
