Whitley City/McCreary County Medical & Personal Care Drive

For many years, our parish has given support to the Whitley City/McCreary County area in a variety of ways.  This Southern Kentucky area has been in economic distress for many years. In McCreary County, 34% of the population are at poverty level. Many of those in need are the working poor families, the elderly, and the disabled all who sometimes must choose between necessities. This is why the supplies and money collected during this drive are so important!  
 
This year, the spring Whitley City Medical & Personal Needs Drive will be held on the following weekends at Activity Center A:

•  April 5/6, 2025 (assist handing out slips of paper with a list of needed items)
• April 12/13, 2025 (assist collecting and sorting donated items)

We need volunteers to staff Activity Center A for 15 minutes before and after all Masses on those weekends. Click the VOLUNTEER button below to view dates and times and to signup to volunteer!
