Winter Adult Bible Studies

Good Shepherd invites you to join one of our Adult Bible Studies to enrich your New Year and your understanding of the Sacred Scriptures. Come discover the depths of our Catholic faith. Studies begin in January. Below is a list of our upcoming studies:

The Prophets: Messengers of God's Mercy - begins Tuesday, January 15, 2010 and runs for 10 Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 a.m. The cost is $25.

Description: If we consider that God is the Divine Bridegroom and the Church is his Bride, then the prophets can be seen as “spiritual marriage counselors.” They afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted, calling us to return to our covenant relationship with God. See how their powerful words speak to us today, shedding light on our faith and our lives.

Bishop Barron's The Mass - begins Tuesday, January 15, 2019 and runs for 7 Tuesday afternoons from 12:30-2:00 p.m. The cost is $20.

Description: This study on The Mass is the best way to immerse yourself fully into the beauty and mystery of the principle act of Catholic worship and faith. See how the Mass brings us out of the fallen world and into the heavenly realm, how it revolves around a call from God and a response from his people, the Church, and most importantly, how we are intimately joined with the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus through the Holy Eucharist.

Psalms: The School of Prayer - begins Wednesday, January 16, 2019 and runs for 11 Wednesday afternoons. The cost is $25.

Description: Walking into a new school can be intimidating, but this is not the case when you study Psalms. Not only do you learn how to pray, but more importantly, you learn the language of the Lord.
