Eucharistic Ministers distribute the Body and Blood of Christ.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharistic are lay people who are canonically permitted to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to the entire assembly.
Each volunteer must meet the standards required by the Church and participate in a Eucharistic Ministers Training session. Eucharistic Ministers then volunteer at Sunday and Holyday Mass (of your choice); those who attend Daily Mass are eligible to assist at Communion Distribution.
Time commitment: Eucharistic Ministers are not scheduled for a particular Mass. Just volunteer at the Mass you are attending by stopping at the podium in the main foyer before Mass.
Meeting times: Initial training session, refresher as needed.
