Each year, the Catholic Relief Services Collection is held on the first weekend in May. This important collection helps bring Christ’s love and compassion to those who need it most—both here at home and around the world. Through your generosity, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) provides food to the hungry, supports families displaced by conflict, and brings hope to vulnerable communities.
CRS is the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. Guided by the Gospel and rooted in Catholic social teaching, CRS works to:
Promote human development by responding to emergencies, fighting poverty and disease, and helping to build peaceful, just societies.
Support U.S. Catholics in living out their faith through global solidarity with our brothers and sisters around the world.
With partnerships in over 100 countries, CRS tailors its efforts to meet the unique needs of each community it serves—always providing help based on need, not creed, race, or nationality. The organization does not proselytize and is committed to respecting the dignity and sacredness of all human life.
Your gift makes a real difference. CRS is one of the most efficient and trusted charitable organizations in the world. In fact, 94% of every dollar goes directly to programs that benefit the poor. Their smart, streamlined approach means your support goes further in reaching those in need.
