A co-chairperson is needed to “Captain” the Activity Center the weekends of July 22/23, July 29/30, and August 5/6 for the annual Shepherd’s Care School Supply Drive benefiting Purcell Marian High School, St. Francis Seraph Elementary School, and Holy Family Elementary School.
This is a short-term volunteer position (see details below).
The School Supply Drive begins with planning and publicity in mid-June and ends when all collected items are delivered in early August. The bulk of the work takes place the weekends of July 29/30 and August 5/6.
The volunteer will work as a co-chairperson, supervising other volunteers collecting donations at the Activity Center while the current chairperson sorts the items for the schools as they come in. Optional tasks include helping with pre-planning and assisting with delivery.
