World Day of the Sick - Feb. 11, 2024

The 166th Anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes

Good Shepherd's Healing Christ Ministry invites you to pray for all who are ill on this special day, the 32nd Annual World Day of the Sick, on Sunday, February 11, 2024.  Initiated by Pope John Paul II in 1993, he asked all believers to seek "a special time of prayer and sharing, of offering one's suffering for the good of the Church and of reminding everyone to see in his/her sick brother or sister the face of Christ who, by suffering, dying, and rising, achieved the salvation of mankind."  We are called as a community to manifest God's love and mercy for those suffering; people we know and people we do not know.

We invite you to take time during your busy day to connect with our Good Shepherd community and our global community to request healing in prayer through Our Lady of Lourdes to the Healing Christ on Sunday, February 11, 2024.  There will be Healing Christ Ministry healing sessions on Monday, February 12, 2024, for anyone interested - visit our webpage for a full listing of community sessions.
