Whitley City, Kentucky is located in one of the traditionally ten poorest counties in the USA and currently is number one.

The Good Shepherd Catholic Chapel in Whitley City, Kentucky is the primary benefactor of this ministry; however several other local organizations receive significant support from our
donations of used furniture, appliances, building supplies and materials, medical supplies and equipment, personal care items, books, toys, and other household items. We also provide direct financial assistance to all of the separate organizations we support in the form of significant monetary grants totaling approximately $15,000 annually.

Volunteers travel to Whitley City, Kentucky for a week long mission trip twice yearly to assist in the construction and refurbishing of houses, building handicap ramps and other
home maintenance projects.
